Albany hosts a campaign to sell 15000 dollars of cannery stock with a $50 limit per subscriber and a target of 500 growers. A 25 000 goal triggers construction of a cog rgtive cannery once met. Over 100 Linn and Benton county farmers attended the preliminary meeting.
L H White aged nearly 95 died February 1 1915 at Monmouth Oregon after a long life spanning Spring field Vermont and Illinois prior to settling in Oregon in 1860 He leaves three children W H White Ontario Oregon Mrs W E Allen Portland and Mrs J W Howell Monmouth eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren The funeral was preached by Rev W A Wood and interment followed in the cemetery south of town Wednesday afternoon
Senate support for a $50 000 training school building is discussed amid campus visits and attendance rising to three hundred for the year. The Normal hosts social events, a mock trial by the Delphians, and a farewell chapel as February 1915 ends with student performances and faculty reflections.
