Progress report on W T Home at Pyote air base
Dr James A Turman president of the Texas Youth Council said a contract for use of the site and purchase of improvements at the old Pyote air base was signed September 1 by the Youth Council and UT Board of Regents. Papers have been forwarded to federal authorities to release the properties under federal control and remodeling should begin in about 30 days for the West Texas Children's Home use.
