The Pen-Ell Theatre bathing revue drew full houses last Thursday with Miss Marie Underwood winning first prize for figure and pose and Miss Naveline Hurst second for attire. Patronage supported the Monahans baseball club. proceeds totaled about 31 dollars. Two year old Patsy Jeane Adams delighted the crowd as Miss Monahans, after which she and her mother planned to attend the West Texas Chamber of Commerce convention in Big Spring. Patsy is the daughter of Mr and Mrs H A Adams.

Estes Purchases Registered Hereford Bulls

Funeral Rites For Mrs. Mary Jane Hill Held Here Sunday

Mrs. Mary Jane Hill 69 died May 5 after a short illness in Pecos Hospital. Funeral services were Sunday at 3 PM at First Baptist Church with Rev. J. A. Kidd of Pecos and Rev. Ira Harrison officiating. Burial in Monahans cemetery. She lived in Ward and Winkler counties 39 years and left four children, two brothers, twelve grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Pallbearers named.
