Centennial plans advance for Monahans history projects
The Ward County Historical Commission met over two Mondays to map Centennial activities for Monahans 100th year. Efforts include tracing Monahan the railroad surveyor, taping memories of the old well, seeking a railroad marker, and producing a cross section of Monahans Well. A booth at Hill Park July 3–4 will display items and invite reminiscences to be recorded on cassette tapes.
