Loboes Fall 6 4 to Permian in Tuesday Game
The Lobo baseball team dropped its second game of the season 6-4 to Permian. Losing pitcher Martin Martinez allowed 11 hits and six earned runs with five strikeouts. Tino Sanchez, Ricky Munoz, and Fidel Overbides each had a hit. Sanchez and Munoz drove in a run. Overbides drove in two. Next up, Loboes face Seminole in the tournament at 5:30 pm. Green improves to 3-2.

The Odessa Broncos beat the Lobo baseball team 11 10 in a competitive contest Friday. Fidel Overrides went 2 for 3 with two triples and three runs, while Tino Sanchez added two RBIs and a two inning relief appearance. Saturday, Loboes won two against Midland Lee 7 3 and 12 4.

The Junior Varsity Lobo baseball team defeated Pecos 9-8 in game one and 12-4 in game two. Leading hitters were Hank Sanchez Gary Nall Larry Torres and Ryan Roark. coaches praised all players for hitting and staying in the game both on and off the field. Substitutes also did super jobs as both games finished in the final inning.

Eighth grade girls win Kermit track meet
The Kermit eighth grade girls track team scored 183 points to win over Ft. Stockton 129 and Crane 75. Relays and sprints led the squad with Melody Holloway, Sheila Adams, Lisa Carrasco and Jeannie Ables taking a 400 relay second in 55.5. Individual wins included Sheila Adams in the 100 yd dash and Mona Hans anchoring a winning 800 relay.
