Secondary water recovery tested to extend Ogallala Aquifer life
Texas Tech engineers review secondary recovery methods borrowed from oil fields to push more water from the Ogallala Aquifer. Tests near Slaton probe feasibility of air or water injection to overcome capillarity, with initial results anticipated by summer.
