Water district eyes expansion across six counties
Representatives from nine area towns convened in the Council chamber to discuss the Colorado River Municipal Water District’s expansion. General manager O H Ivy explained Senate Bill 618 would widen the CRMWD’s boundaries from Odessa to Balmorhea, add six counties, and authorize tax exempt bonds for wastewater and air pollution projects.
