The Trans-Pecos Little League from Barstow Wickett Coyanosa Grandfalls and Imperial will play on Tuesdays and Fridays. Remaining games list matchups by date including June 24 and July dates across Barstow Imperial Grandfalls Wickett Coyanosa and Coyanosa at Barstow.

A Federal Social Security representative will be at the Courthouse Annex in Monahans from 11 a.m. to 12 noon on July 6 and 20, August 3 and 17, and September 7 and 21 to assist the public.

Sam Sloan, 71, died Wednesday at Mona hans Convalescent Home. He moved to Monahans in 1934 and belonged to the Methodist Church. Born March 11, 1896 in Oklahoma, he is survived by his wife, a step-daughter Mrs Alice Wilson of Lincoln California, and his brother Jess Sloan of Odessa. Services are pending in Odessa.
