Texas imposes extended hog cholera quarantine for swine
The Texas Animal Health Commission reimposes a quarantine effective May 28 to control hog cholera with a 30 day on premises hold for purchased swine and limited movement for slaughter or shows. Five counties are released from federal quarantine while Potter County remains restricted. Violations face fines.
