VA urges release of liability for veterans selling GI homes
VA officials warn veterans selling their homes and allowing a buyer to assume a GI loan must obtain a release of liability to avoid future problems. The release is possible if the loan is current, the buyer is a good credit risk, and the buyer agrees to assume all liabilities.
