Formal vows at First Baptist Church wedding
Karen Evelyn Marks and James Allen Taylor exchanged vows on June 6 at 7 p.m. in the First Baptist Church. The ceremony featured a white dove, blue garlands, and a double ring rite officiated by Wed Harms. Attendants included matron of honor Kathy Dreyer and bridesmaids Mary Lynn Hendricks and others. The bride wore a sheer organza gown with Chantilly lace and carried a blue daisies bouquet. After a reception in the church fellowship hall, the couple plan to reside in Lubbock, Texas, where both have ties to Texas Tech University. Out-of-town relatives and many friends attended.
