Jobs Now Open At Proving Track Near Cayanosa
Representatives from Texas Employment Commission and B F Goodrich Automotive Proving Grounds will be in Monahans tomorrow from 2 to 4 p m at Ward County Courthouse Annex to take applications for drivers and mechanics. Minimum requirements are reading and writing English 21 years old and a valid Texas driver license. The jobs are permanent with three eight hour shifts per day on a 48 hour weekly basis at the new proving track near Cayanosa about 25 miles southwest of Monahans.

German student Heidi Simon details German education at MHS event

Four Break-Ins Reported in Manitahans Within 10 Hours
Four break-ins were reported to city police between 12 30 a m and 10 30 a m Sunday in Manitahans. The City Lounge on East Sealy saw an undetermined amount of change taken from a cigarette machine and an assault begun but not completed on the juke box. Fina Service Station also on East Sealy had change taken from a cigarette machine and several packs of cigarettes missing. Richard's Mobil Service on East Sealy saw 14 01 dollars removed from the cash register. Judy's Drive In on East Sealy lost between 20 and 25 dollars from the juke box.

Bus Depot Break-In Netted Thugs $33.50
Monahans Greyhound Bus station on Second and South Alice was entered by forcing the front door latching mechanism in early Friday hours. Investigators report about $33.50 taken from a change pan and an additional $13 left in a nearby cigar box.

Two Car Collision Causes Major Vehicle Damage
A two car crash at Fourth and Doris Saturday evening damaged two vehicles. A 1961 Chevrolet Impala driven by Bobby Joe Watkins 35 of Crane sustained about 300 dollars in damage and a 1954 Oldsmobile four door driven by John E. Peveto 17 of Monahans sustained about 250 dollars in damage.
