G F Wacker Stores will acquire Grayson Variety Store in Monahans on January 15. Joe Vandiver says G F Wacker of Pauls Valley plans to run two local outlets, making this the thirty fourth Wacker store in Oklahoma New Mexico and Texas. The Grayson stock is included with the deal. Assistant managers have not been named. Vandiver will personally oversee the two stores at opening.

Pecos Man Charged With Felony DWI
Oram Green of Pecos arrested December 7 for driving while intoxicated was charged in Judge A G Burtons court with a felony and placed under a 750 dollar bond. Fire Destroys Five Structures in Kermit Theatre Blast
A blast in the Kermit theatre projection room ignited a fire that destroyed five buildings on Thursday night.
