Bank Fraud Warns Monahans Shoppers
A fraud case recounts a teller placing cash in an envelope to avoid fingerprints. The victim was told a bank examiner would collect the money to return it to her account once the thief was caught. She was urged to stay silent. No word from anyone since the handover. Older people are common targets and should be wary of approaching strangers claiming bank procedures.
Robbery suspects described as two white men with shotgun
Harding described the perpetrators as two white males about 5'9\" to 6 feet tall. One wore faded jeans and a dark blue coat with a thin moustache and hood. The other wore a yellow ski mask. Drea said no further leads have turned up and the investigation continues.
