Swedish Beauties See America on Rotary Funded Tour
Two Swedish students Anne Charlotte Hultcrantz and Helena Wadsten toured the United States for two months as cultural ambassadors after Rotary and Swedish cultural groups funded round trip travel. They toured about 6,000 miles, gave 30 Rotary speeches with slides, and praised American roads, kitchens, bathrooms, and hospitality while noting differences in fashion and politics. Helena plans marriage in a few years, while Anne Charlotte prefers time abroad before settling down.
