Grand jury indicts two reindicts others in Ward County
Ward County grand jury indicted Esidio Valdez 31 of 502 North Main on aggravated assault charges for an May 17 incident. Another indicted suspect’s name is withheld pending arrest on an attempted murder charge. Three others were reindicted due to technical faults in prior indictments. Police court and fire activity: Callaway cited for speed, Yeates and Wright appealed guilty municipal court verdicts, Durham cited for public intoxication and disorderly conduct, Gonzales and Pittman charged with theft for loading bricks, Adams fined for public intoxication. An electrical fire damaged a trailer at 1208 South Stockton at 6:37 p.m. heavy heat and smoke, 10 minutes to extinguish.
