Electric Bills Prompted Company Investigation
The Pedernales Electric Cooperative investigated Roy and Patricia Wilson after unusually low bills raised questions. Their 1944 square foot all electric home in an Austin upper middle class area used 1092 kilowatts monthly, with typical bills under 76 dollars, far less than nearby similar houses. The couple were not illicit, and the cooperative even suggested Wilson publish a book on energy saving home design.
