Weight of Brains and Notable Figures in 19th Century Notes

An excerpt reviews brain weights of famous scientists and criminals, citing Cuvier and Abercrombie as heaviest on record, and contrasts lunatic asylum data from West Riding. It mentions senile dementia, then shifts to a London newspaper note on China policy, and reports deaths and local Wisconsin laws on threshing machine safety. It closes with Providence tax figures and leading taxpayers.
