County Supervisors report on poor relief and finances in 1880
The Moline Review summarizes the last supervisors session before an election, detailing jail claim payments, Poor Farm salaries, disbursements for sending residents to Kansas and Colorado, and various committee expenditures. It notes pauper counts by township, proposed investigations into poor bills, licensing petitions, and county finances including remaining funds and tax-related actions. The piece covers local officials, tax extensions, and building and infrastructure notes amid a busy county governance period.
