Hampton township commissioners met to consider the Rock Island Improvement Co. petition to abandon the Watertown road at Warner crossing for a proposed viaduct. Lawyers for both sides argued while objections were filed and overruled, with 31 property owners signing the petition. An adjournment was ordered for further afternoon action.
