Moline to Be Terminus for Interurban Line
Promoter F H Caldwell announced a new interurban route from Milan bridges near Buffalo Prairie to Moline with a 47 mile line estimated at $500000. The line would pass through Illinois City Edgington Andalusia and Millersburg entering Moline via Nineteenth Street and aims to start soon with some service by fall.

An attempted burglary at Elsinore the home of Mr and Mrs Clhares Barnard was foiled when Mrs Barnard fired two shots from a revolver as a burglar tried to enter through her bedroom window. A bullet hole was found and the intruder may be wounded.
