Washing Shaw selects the Deere Haley lot at the southeast corner of Eighteenth Street and Third Avenue for the new post office after a delayed hearing. The price paid is $14,000 following Supervising Architect Taylor’s recommendation amid petition opposition claiming 90 percent support.

Capt John T Lytle death noted in San Antonio, Texas, with Lytle described as a leading cattleman and official of the Texas Cattle Raisers Association.
