Hamiltons return from Pacific tour after two months
The Hamilton family of five siblings and two parents returned home on September 11 after a Pacific voyage begun June 15. Dr Gene C Hamilton and Dr Eleanor Hamilton, both Chicago physicians, led a months long trip visiting hospitals and clinics in Tahiti, Fiji, New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Japan, Hawaii, and Australia. They supported medical missions, bought supplies in Hong Kong for Manila, and shared memories of climbs in Japan and a month in Australia with former locals.
