Miss Gloria Irene Dahlke 17 of 9424 Willow Arbury Hills won the $1,000 UNICO National scholarship covering four years at $250 yearly. She plans to attend Northern Illinois University to pursue teaching. The Honors Day program on June 3 will present the award.

Arnold J. Tyler Elected President of Will County Principals And Superintendents
Arnold J. Tyler, superintendent of the New Lenox School District, was unanimously elected president of the Will County Principals and Superintendents Association for the 1968 69 school year. The May 15 vote at the Howard Johnson Motel Joliet drew about 100 attendees. He succeeds Paul F. Swinford, Beecher Community Unit District superintendent. Tyler, married to Dorothy Nusbaum, has four children and has led New Lenox Schools since 1962 after moving from Marshall Illinois where he was assistant superintendent in charge of elementary education.
