Milton Subbert 50 of Frankfort Dies
Milton Subbert aged 50 of Frankfort died suddenly at home March 12. Funeral services were held March 14 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church Frankfort with interment in Skyline Memorial Cemetery Monce. Surviving are his wife Esther nee Rauch two sons Myron and Larry three sisters and three brothers and two grandchildren. He owned Milton Lubbert Trucking and Excavating for 20 years.

Katharine Keach Dies at Tinley Park After Long Illness
Mrs Katharine E Keach 72 of 6712 174th Place Tinley Park died there last Thursday March 9 after a long illness. Funeral services were held Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church Tinley Park with burial in the parish cemetery. Surviving are a son Arthur of Blue Island a daughter Loretta Mrs Harry Marzell of Tinley Park a brother Carl Bermet highway commissioner of Orland Township seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. The body lay in state at the church from 11 a m until services at 1 30 p m conducted by Rev Dr Lowell C Green.

Lincoln Way area hires director for special education program
Martin McKay, a licensed school psychologist and former Lin coln Way High gui dance instructor, will head the Cooperative Special Education program. He starts July 1, 12 month year, with a salary of 11000 funded by the state and districts. the state contributes 5000 and the remainder comes from area schools.

Phone Customers to Receive New Directories Tomorrow
Illinois Bell will mail new telephone directories starting Friday to customers in New Lenox Mokena and Frankfort. New Lenox gets 3500 copies up from 3250 last year Mokena 2264 up from 2097 Frankfort about 1750 up from 1600. A Saint Gaudens Lincoln statue portrait will grace the cover per manager Ken Ratcliffe. Customers may use the directories once received and should check old books to avoid losing items hidden in pages.
