He allegedly took about $7,000 from the firm. The shortage was found in an audit conducted weeks earlier.

Born Oct 31 1880 in Riverdale he farmed Frankfort area 35 years. Survived by wife Julia five daughters Emma Alma Amanda Ida Ruse Mrs May Schramk three sons Henry Herman John Jr five sisters and 12 grandchildren. Last rites under Hirsch funeral service were held Saturday Feb 25 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Frankfort with Rev Adolph Ullrich officiating Burial at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Man Wounded Cleaning Rifle in Frankfort Incident
Jimmy Ward, 19, of Lincoln Estates, Frankfort, was wounded in the leg when a 22 calibre rifle discharged while he cleaned it. He was taken to St James hospital in Chicago Heights. His wife Mary, 18, reported she was asleep at the time.

Burglar Captured After Vent Escape at Orland Park IGA
Raymond Wilson, 33, a parolee from Georgia, was seized by Orland Park police during a burglary at the IGA Foodliner in the Orland Park Shopping Plaza early Sunday morning February 26. He allegedly forced entry, tried to escape via a ventilator to the roof, and was captured after officers arrived. Police tied the incident to prior burglaries and noted similar methods to a case in Worth. Wilson is held on burglary charges with bond set at 35,000.
