Lincoln Way High Band to Celebrate Anniversary Concert
The Lincoln Way High School band directed by Robert Co. Tay lor and Randolph F. Kum mer will give its annual anniversary concert Sunday at 3 p.m. in the school auditorium. The program features the 1959 band with former members honored, a front-page photo, three state contest selections, a Sousa march, and a clarinet solo by Steve Barnes plus a percussion quartet. Tickets are at the door or from band members. a reception follows for former players and families.

Willard Hafka Dies Former New Lenox Highway Commissioner
Willard Hafka 48 longtime New Lenox highway commissioner died January 22 at St Joseph Hospital Joliet after a long illness. He lived at 208 Pacific Street Frankfort and previously worked the family farm until health forced retirement. He was born April 6 1919 in New Lenox township and is survived by wife Phyllis foster brother Eugene Rice Rochester N Y and aunt Edna Fowler Joliet. He willed his body to science and a memorial service is set Friday at 8 p m at St Peter's Church Frankfort with Rev LaVern Smith officiating. Memorials may go to the church.

Ag Class Meets Tonight At Lincoln Way
The Lincoln Way High School agricultural department sponsors its fourth winter adult class titled Selling Agricultural Land for Non Agriculture Uses. It will be held Thursday January 25 1968 at 7 30 p m in room 144. The speaker is Fred Verinder an Internal Revenue Service agent. Remaining classes include February 1 Futures Trading in Grain and Livestock February 8 Farm Organizations.
