Tax protest fund distributed to 22 Will County townships
County Treasurer Clarence Lipman says more than 267000 dollars from tax protest cases were distributed to taxing bodies in 22 Will County townships via assistant W F Schuetz. New Lenox and Frankfort townships received the largest shares from district schools and villages as back taxes from 1967 and 1968 are slated for mid February.

PMA District 13 to Meet Saturday in Minooka
A. L. McWilliams of Pure Milk Association will address PMA district 13 at Minooka High School Saturday January 25. Will Grundy LaSalle Bureau DeKalb Cook Kendall Henry and Lee counties dairy farmers form the district. Officers and voting delegates meet at 10 30 a m with officer election at that hour. Public generosity funds the Biddle Family Fund as the Orland Township fire that killed five members prompts wide community support.
