Annexation Proclamation for Modesto Territory May 1912
The city council of Modesto California orders a special election on May 3 1912 to decide annexation of a specified territory. Voters will choose to approve annexation by marking For Annexation or oppose by marking Against Annexation. Polling places are designated and election officials appointed. The measure requires a quorum and is published in Modesto News and Oakdale Leader.
