A movement to organize a stock company plans to acquire Randolph Springs from Henry Horton for 16,000 with 4,600 for improvements. Promoters have 5,000 in stock subscribed by Horton and others, aiming to sell shares to buyers in Huntsville, Moberly, Mexico, Columbia and St. Charles. Miss Annie Mairens, known for bravery during a recent fire, is a local point of interest and relative of Mrs Wm Jeannell.

The All-Professionals of St Louis fell to the Moberly Signals at Randolph Spring yesterday with Barry of Des Moines pitching and Heininger catching. Beecher replaced Hanaa late, while O Neil’s wild throws let Moberly score several runs. The Signals outplayed the Profs on both offense and defense, earning a decisive 12 to 8 score.
Mrs Martha Gant died yesterday morning at her daughter’s home 301 South Morley Street of senile decay aged 58. Survived by five children. Funeral services set for tomorrow at 1 15 PM from St John’s Church with burial in Macon.
