Unknown Tramp Buried at Oakland Cemetery
A nameless tramp injured on train No 11 at Mexico died in Wa bash hospital and was buried today in Oakland cemetery at the company expense. A memo book with addresses of shelters in Chicago St Louis Kansas City and Little Rock was found on him along with a letter to his parents indicating remorse and a troubled departure from home. In Fotter's field beneath a slate marked Unknown lies the mortal remains of a boy once loved by a mother and now unknown to his family.

Death of Mrs Amanda I Featherston Leaves 74 in Widowhood
Mrs Amanda I Featherston widow of Walker Featherston died October 1 after a lingering illness at her daughter's home six miles south of Middle Grove. She was 74 and had long been active in the Christian church. Survived by four sons two daughters and her brother-in-law Elder W M Sweatherston. Funeral tomorrow at 2 from Macedona church led by Elder J A Jerry.
