Methodist Preachers Robbed En Route to Columbia
Several Methodist preachers traveling to Columbia for the annual conference were robbed on a Wabash train from Kansas City to Brunswick. The thieves targeted the preachers more than other passengers. Rev S. J. Gore and two others from Missouri lost funds, but a relief fund raised among delegates reimbursed the losses. A separate incident reports Perrill thrown from a cart at the Jacksonville fair, shaken but unharmed.

William Graves a former Wa bash firefighter died yesterday at 30 from lung disease in Montgomery City after a New Mexico sojourn. He was mourned by friends and relatives at a 4 PM service and remembered for his loyalty and service. A special Wabash train carried mourners with crew names listed and marked with crape in tribute. Death of Mrs Kate Boeing in Fulton
Mrs Kate Boeiig died at 5 o clock last evening at a relative's home in Fulton Mo while visiting. She came from Oregon about a year ago and stayed with her niece Mrs Dr Holt on West Reed street. Three months ago she left Moberly for a visit with Fulton relatives and died while visiting there. Funeral services were held in Fulton this afternoon. Mrs Holt did not receive news in time to travel. Mrs Burris was valued by many friends who mourn her death.
