Court selects election judges for many precincts after rescinding a plan to create sectional wards. Maberly Boys Radio Orchestra Captivates City Audience

Most radio listeners in the city caught Tidianapolis last night and heard the Maberly boys orchestra with Tilly Gaetve Edward Farbaugh and Phil Bloom among its members. The hour long concert drew a large crowd at the Jefferson cigar store station and gatherings at the homes of Mrs Thorne and De Plobs.

Witness Claims Seeing Reverend Hall Shot in New Brunswick

Mrs. Jane Gibson aged 50 testified she witnessed the murder of Reverend Edward Hall and Mrs. Jeanor Mills on September 14 at Phillips farm. She described two men and two women under a crab apple tree arguing, with a pistol raised toward Mills and Hall before she fled.

Fatal Train Wreck Kills Four Near Waggoner Crossing

October 23 a Daylight Special on the Tiliness Can vas struck a sedan at the main crossing of Waggoner in Gailroad wrecking the car and killing four occupants. Miss Lucile Scalt 20 and Misa Tutt Boyd 10 died at the scene. Mrs Ray Keele died at St Francis Hospital. Mrs Keele Miss Scott and others were in Raymond visiting when the accident occurred.

Prisoners Escape From State Pen in Jefferson City

Two inmates escaped from the state penitentiary in Jefferson City this afternoon by hiding in empty coal cars being moved from the grounds. One escapee was George Williams serving a 20 year term for an attempted bank holdup in Fortitel, Missouri. The other was Leroy Smith serving a term for grand larceny.
