Joseph M. Seymour a longtime dry goods merchant of Sturgeon died at 5 o clock this morning at age 82 after six months of ill health. He leaves three daughters M M Tidson and R McDonald of St Louis Margy Miller of Moberly a son William Seymour of Henrietta Oklahoma one brother Willard Seymour of Sedalia and one sister Mrs Rose Webster of Sturgeon. He was a leading figure in the local trade and a longtime member of the Methodist church with funeral plans set for Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock conducted by Rev T O Wittworth at the Sturgeon church. Interment will be in Pisgah Cemetery.
