Married In Moberly Seeks New Life In Oklahoma

W B Hunter, a prominent citizen of Pawnes Ola, and Mrs Wome Hunter of Monroe county, were married at 7 pm last night at the groom’s sister Mrs W SK Megoo’s home on South Clark Street It was a surprise to relatives. The couple left for Centralia and Mexico and will return before moving to their future Oklahoma home.

Butler Overruled in Boone County Indictment Case

Judge Hockaday ruled to deny Butler’s motion to quash the indictment in the garbage contract bribery case. The decision sets Butler on trial, with prosecutors arguing the law and city ordinance support the charges. Appointed Roundhouse Foreman Named at Texas Shops

Will Seibert has been promoted to roundhouse foreman at the railroad shops in Beaumont Texas. He moved quickly from local work to the new post without a change in circumstances and now holds a position higher than he had dreamed. The Nichols and Wiel family thank friends who aided during the vacancy and commend the Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen and Ladies Auxiliary for their support.

Died at Mississippi Mrs Bradshear formerly of this county

Mrs J W Bradshear died Tuesday at her lake home in Rosedale Mississippi after a long illness. She formerly lived in this county and was well known here with many friends. Her husband was a nephew of Mrs A Vince from the northwest of the city.

McCabe House Sold To West Cortes Street Grocer

John Souis, a West Cortes Street grocer, bought the McCabe House from Conductor Mika McCabe for 2750. Possession will be given once the Heather Property is vacated. Souis plans to move in with his family. the Taig residence is noted for its conveniences and location near the business district and a street likely to be paved next spring.

Clarence Haworth son of Fred Haworth underwent a delicate operation by Dr G K Dutton to remove a sliver of iron from his eye Monday evening.
