Young man vanishes after forging check to buy Ford car
Tom Woods of near Sturgeon bought a Ford from Moberly Auto Exchange on West Coates Street using a check on J. Green of Sturgeon. After phone inquiries revealed lack of authority, Woods fled. the car was found abandoned seven miles southwest of Sturgeon, and Woods remains missing.
