Rumor in Moberly Mo states John Dacy master mechanic for Wabash Railroad has been promoted to superintendency of motive power with headquarters at Springfield IL to succeed J B Barnes. Ernest Fawkes has not yet been informed and the effective date is not known. The prior holder included FH Delano.

Opening Well Attended Gould Wins at Toledo

A large attendance marked the Owlship social at Toledo where Gould’s faction led in director votes for the Wabash bondholders. Ramsey failed to secure enough proxies, while Gould faction nominees won, with lingering questions about control and possible court actions. Morton and Miss Thomas engaged as noted local figures.
