Dynamite Wrecks a Dry Agent's Home
Four people were injured when dynamite wrecked the home of Chas. Pearce, a dry agent, around dawn. Pearce, his wife, and infant daughter slept upstairs as the blast collapsed the room and basement. Rescue teams worked over an hour to free them. the baby sustained head injuries. Mrs Pearce escaped with possible internal injuries.
Funeral Service at Port Hinsley and Huntsville Church
A short service was held at the family home at 1 o'clock this afternoon for Z. Ty Bentley. A regular service followed at 2 o clock in the Methodist Church at Huntsville conducted by Rev Ward M Baker. The nephews served as pallbearers and interment took place in Huntsville Cemetery.
