The University of Missouri band, over sixty pieces strong, will give a concert at the high school auditorium Tuesday evening. The Meberly Rotary club arranges the event, with free admission and an invitation to all. The band will arrive on Wabash No 9 Tuesday evening and perform after a Rotary dinner. afterward they proceed to Lawrence for the Thanksgiving football classic between Moberly and Kansas rivals.

Doctor Lyter Charged With Game Law Violation At St Louis
Dr Lyter formerly of Moberry now of Fort Worth Westering tenant was stopped at St Louis Union Station after he left a train with sixteen qualls in possession. A game warden confiscated the bag and ordered him to appear before the prosecuting attorney. The offense carries a fine from fifty to two hundred dollars.

New Missouri Utility Merger Authorized By Public Commission
One of the state’s largest utility consolidations was approved by the Missouri Public Service Commission. Man Given Christian Burial for Walter Dowdy
Walter Dowdy, an apparently friendless old man who died November 10, was given a Christian burial this afternoon in Moberly. He had worked at a Fourth Street cafe and stayed at the Franklin boarding house before his death. His daughter in Kansas City could not be located, and his body remained at Mahan & Sons while relatives were sought. Two short services were held in the Mahan funeral parlors by Rev. W. T. Henson, followed by interment at Oakland Cemetery.
