Fred Priesmeyer Buys Store Building on Need Street

Fred Priesmeyer acquired the Need street store building this morning, locating his up-to-date pharmacy at the Reed and Clark streets corner. The seller was Henry de Dein administrator of the estate of the heirs of Mrs. Riedsheimer of Fort Wayne, Ind. The price was not disclosed, but described as good.

Residents Enjoy Country Drive and Turkey Supper

The group gathered for a spring outing at Mab verly's grounds and later dined at Par ner and Desldan's restaurant. Attendees included Arthur McCuliv, Ot Unoter, Will Martin, Fred Shaner, and others from Latisbury as they praised the day and the planned improvements to the building.

Court Hears Case Over Grocery Bill Payment

County court convened as Judge W. Ed Sevans rendered a verdict for Noah Roy Jones Maynes in a suit to recover payment of a grocery bill. The decision ordered payment of the amount sued for plus costs.

Maberty Man Dead and Buried at Home

Jonan Lester, long a Maberty resident and Wabash car worker for thirty-five years, died yesterday at 242 Hedges Avenue of heart disease. Funeral set for 10 a.m. tomorrow at the First M.M. Church, with Rev. I. L. Fask of Kirksville officiating. Burial in Gale land. Survived by wife, a brother and sister. John became a civic member of the Married Men's Lodge. Also included is unrelated federal indictment news about Joseph Burton and political party funding debates.

RULSTON MISSION ENDS AFTER WEEK OF SERVICES

A mission at a German Catholic church closed last night drawing an unusually large crowd. Rev. Father Weniface led the service with Rev. Kroger of Chisvow assisting. The week-long event was described as interesting and helpful to attendees. A new Catholic church building is planned nearby with details to follow.
