Motion picture theatres across the state are urged to exhibit "Jim Reed for Senator," a 00 foot film from the National Film Publicity Corporation. The documentary covers Reed’s campaign night in Moberly with portraits of late Senator Stone, Champ Clark, and other Democrats, plus excerpts from Reed’s speeches. J F Howe, general manager, notes thirty seven theatres on the mailing list did not reply to a free screening offer.

Guests included family and many former pupils, who celebrated with a rice shower as the couple boarded a guarded train to Union Station en route to Kansas City and an Ozarks camping trip before returning to Danville, Illinois, for the fall.
