An advertisement touts Beetme Bitters as a universal remedy. It claims to cure kidney and liver troubles stomach disorders nervousness insomnia and malaria among other ailments. The copy promises satisfaction and lists iid Mc Tanne and Dr Bark as draggists selling the product for fifty cents.
A fragment touts Bucklen's Amgin Salve as a marvel for piles burns corns ulcers and skin eruptions. It claims thirty years of cures and warns against counterfeit salves sold by Canne’s and Dr. Burk and Hast Side Druggists.
A marriage license was issued yesterday to Taniquit, Jones and Mrs Annie Whitmere. They will marry this evening at the residence of the officiating minister on the east side. They will begin housekeeping at 117 East Contes Street.
James Zaner left yesterday for Moberly where he may decide to locate. He has been offered a mining shaft position and will consider the job if the pay meets his terms. Zaner has worked in mining for several years and is skilled in the trade.
Residents may use water for lawns by signing sprinkling contracts at the office. Randolph Water Co says to contact Supt. H. V. Wstill for details and to obtain a contract.

Jessie Morrison, convicted in Itt Dorado Kansas on June 28 for the stabbing death of Mrs Olin Castle at her Jane 1900 home, has been sentenced to twenty five years in the penitentiary. She faced three trials and showed little emotion as the sentence was pronounced. She plans to appeal to the state supreme court.
Mageio Teiglar Wm Holland and John Davis were arrested on the east side this morning on lewd and lascivious conduct charges. They pleaded guilty, fined 5 each plus costs, and jailed until fines are liquidated. Also reports a new Wabash time card taking effect Sunday with changes to No. 13 and a new Geimschel to Maryville train.
