Samuel W. Bramwell a 40 year old Wabash switchman died instantly when struck by a switch engine at the Coates street crossing around midnight. He rode the front running board of engine No. 162, remained on the board as the engine jumped the track and was crushed under the locomotive. his skull was severely injured. Survived by wife four children two sisters and two brothers in Ohio and Indiana. Funeral arrangements set for tomorrow with interment in Toledo after a 1 15 service at home.

Tom Foster, out with a finger injury, hopes to return next week while Supt J S Goodrich rests a week or ten days touring Chicago and New York. J C Shaw ships belongings to Bluffs as his family plans to move. Conductor J R Winyard sells horses to Frank Brown then buys 60 sheep. A G Trippeer arrives from Peru as Superintendent of Maintenance of Way. Swan McDonald to join soon. Richard Doyle takes over as superintendent of the Wabash Western Division with base at Moberly along with James Lauglim trainmaster and H E Watta in Kansas City.
Harry Grosche a popular Wabash freight conductor died suddenly at his home 420 South Clark Street of heart trouble. He came in on No. 68 this morning and was found dead after telling his wife to wake him at 1 pm. He was 45, survived by his wife and son Claude, and funeral is Sunday at 3 pm from the residence. Burial at Oakland.

The thirteenth annual Missouri State Poultry Association exhibition will be held in Moberly January 3 to 6, 1905 with judges W S Russell Ottumwa Iowa and D T Heimlich Jacksonville Ill. The show aims to attract central Missouri fanciers and features officers including Judge W W Graves president and J A Maxwell treasurer. Wages raised for Moberly Telephone operators include Sunday double time. Boone County fair delegates met in Columbia to discuss consolidating Missouri fair circuits into a single fifteen week circuit with Moberly represented by Mayor A Q Dingle.
