Ten thousand Chinese troops move toward Manchuria as Siberian troop trains accelerate across Lake Baikal.
The Randolph county Republican meeting in Missouri gathered about eighty delegates, electing Isaac Weisbury as permanent chair and J. M. Sandison as permanent secretary. They adopted resolutions endorsing Theodore Roosevelt for President, Cyrus P. Walling for Vice President, and Bart D. Newtoni for Governor, while criticizing the Democratic party and urging loyal support for local leaders.

Rev Towler sold music to Moberly High School, while Rev Fowler urged sacred music for national morale and youth culture amid rag time. A revival of interest in sacred song is hoped for.
Announcement from Moberly reports the sudden death of Mrs Harriett Nabor at her Rochester New York home last Thursday. She was a sister of the late John Souis of Moberly and survived by Mrs Malone Hager. Interment occurred in Rochester on Saturday after a visit by Mr and Mrs P J Short during their East tour last September.
