It also covers a Central Building Room 2 program where Mia Frankie Rucker and twenty pupils presented a February Washington themed recital with blue ink invitations and a decorative red hatchet motif.

Former county prosecuting attorney Doyle today purchased the North Williams Street building from Valentine Miller. The real estate firm Stewart Shivell and Victor will continue to occupy the premises while Doyle moves his law offices upstairs. He plans major improvements before spring at a cost of several hundred dollars.
Mrs Jr and Miss Pearl Garry hosted a Washington party featuring Washington era costumes. Attendees wore period gowns and patches, with prizes for best dressed. Euchre prizes were awarded to Mr Llannah and Mrs Jarney, followed by lunch beneath cherry tree centerpieces and flags.

W P Ash sold his 475 acre farm near Ash to Sanford Hull for 168 acres near Renick. Hull plans to stock the new farm and move the Ash family there by March while Ash winds down farming to live in town. D I Davis farm is leased to tenant Milt Williams until new owner sells, with Ash converting land and stock to cash.
First Presbyterian officers meet after prayer meeting tomorrow to discuss building a new modern house of worship costing five to six thousand dollars. Francis J Wendlingg will lecture this evening at the MM Is Church under Young Men's Christian Association auspices. Seats are selling.
An illustrated talk at the Y M C A recounted Christ life and sacrifice, urging love for him and warning that earthly riches will fade. The audience reflected on eternal life and readiness, as the event paused briefly during the evening.
A medical exam finds no broken bones after J. W. Porser slipped on a slick pavement last night. Doctors say the hip injury is serious for his age and he will be confined to his room for several weeks.
Mrs. Henry Moberly wife of a prominent farmer plans to file for divorce citing her husband’s alleged failure to support her and their two children. Papers will be filed with the circuit clerk before week’s end. Austin Wilcox, released from custody, exonerated from wrong doing in driving off Bob Williams’ back after guests at Merchants hotel. The pay car will not start on the 18th if avoidable, based on the fatal 13.
Coming from St. Louis the car struck a laborer fatally injuring him. The trip involved collisions with a hand car, three dogs killed, and a herd of cattle struck. An unsettled engineer faced constant risk during the journey.
The U S Postal Service announces hours for Wednesday February 22 1995 with the office open 9 to 10 in the morning and 3 to 4 in the afternoon. Carriers will deliver and collect mail in mornings and operate windows in the afternoon. Collections occur at 12:30 and 7:30 p m. Joan W Scorr and Arnold Owens are listed on the discharge list.
