George Sullivan of Marion Indiana returned home with his beard shaved and was confronted by his wife who, thinking him a burglar, forced him to raise his hands and warned him not to move for nearly thirty minutes until police arrived. She later learned he was the head of the house. Mrs Fannie Spann remains ill at her South Clark street home.
