Auto Flower Parade for Elks Convention in Moberly

The Elks convention in Moberly will feature a flower parade on September 6 at 2 20 p m with prizes totaling about 560 dollars for best decorated floats. First prize is 75 dollars, with additional cash awards through tenth place. dress parade follows on September 7. Office Robbery at North Missouri Lumber Company in Macon

Yegensen blew the safe in the North Missouri Lumber Company office on Wednesday night and escaped with an estimated sum. Bloodhounds from Moberly were sent for and locals say the blast sounded like backfire from an automobile, with the theft discovered at opening time next morning. Police believe the job was done by experts.

Five Brothers Jailed At Once Siponeney

Five Gehring brothers and a hired man were jailed in Sigourney this week after officers found evidence of bootlegging on a large scale. Forty gallons of powerob corm white key, stills, jugs and bottles were scattered about the Gehring barn. P. J.
