Two large congregations attended Sunday services at the First M. E. Church. Rev. Lunk delivered two eloquent sermons with earnest and dignified bearing. The Sunday School was well attended and Epworth League services were unusually interesting.
Store proprietor Weary Willie of West Reed Street confectionary held a weekly drawing Saturday afternoon. The lucky numbers were 32 and 207, winning a loaf of candy free of charge at Klora Elm Pound for the winner.
Miss Metlaugh of Huntsville spent yesterday in the city as the guest of relatives and friends, enjoying social calls and cordial greetings during her visit.
