Great success at Halloran's Theatre benefit by Anchor Lodge

A large crowd attended the Halloran's Theatre entertainment under Anchor Lodge No 54 Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen. The minstrel style show featured Miss Heasie Craig of Texas and speaker George Manuel of the United Mine Workers of America. A W Maier spoke on The Battle of the Ages, followed by stereopticon Irish scenes. Next event set for May 5. local moves include M Merry relocating to West Carpenter home.

Missionary society entertaining at Itlrat Presbyterian church

The Woman's Home Missionary Society of the Itlrat Presbyterian church hosted a social gathering at Mrs Shrader's residence. An afternoon program included a brief address and a catered dinner by Tony the caterer. Guests included Judge Chilton Mrs Martha Chilton and others, enjoying a social and charitable event. James Todd of Maryville has been named treasurer of the St Joseph asylum No. 8 with a salary of 830. Frank Owens elected steward of the same asylum at 750 yearly.

Gallatin Conight to Hear Veenoh vs Wabash Railway Co

Kicked by a horse injures North Moberly man

George Headinghans of North Moberly was seriously hurt yesterday afternoon when a saddled horse roaming without a rider kicked him in the abdomen on North Morley street near Dr. Jee wins crossing. Dr. Irwin treated him and he was reported resting more comfortably today.
