Political Pickups The Matter of Deals in Davison County
The Gazette accuses GOP leaders and county candidates of a secret deal to betray prohibitionists and the Independent party. It questions why Independent A. Sanders was rejected, while Democrat Henry Mohr was nominated, and claims Independent candidates face pressure and trading to split the vote. It notes real estate pride, farmer prosperity claims, and hints of Republicans staying united while Democrats trade.
